Work With Me
You found your way here.
That means something is ready to move. Maybe you've been carrying something for a long time — a creative dream that keeps getting postponed, a pattern that keeps repeating, a version of yourself you can sense but can't quite reach. Maybe you just know you're more than what's currently showing up in your life. Whatever brought you here — I'm glad you came.
What working together looks like:
We begin where you are. Not where you think you should be — where you actually are.
Using deep listening, psychoeducation, nervous system support, chakra-based assessment and intuitive guidance, we'll go into the places that most need attention — your psyche, your body, your creativity, your shadow.
One of my signature approaches is Embodied Imaging — a process where I guide you into your imagination and somatic awareness to access your unconscious wisdom directly. What your mind can't reach, your body and imagination often can.
We may also do Parts Work — getting to know the different inner selves that make up who you are, including the ones that have been running the show from the shadows.
A significant part of our work together is learning to befriend your emotions — naming them, feeling them safely, and learning to express and communicate your needs with clarity and compassion. Fear in particular is something I work with deeply. When we learn to face our fears rather than avoid them, something profound shifts.
Between sessions I often offer homework — creative, inspiring, sometimes surprising assignments that keep the work alive in your daily life.
Sometimes a session looks like talking. Sometimes it looks like drawing, writing, moving, guided meditation or sitting in silence. I bring whatever is needed. You bring whatever is true.
The goal is always the same: your deepest potential and highest purpose — and the healing of whatever stands in the way.
This work is for you if:
You're hungry for self-expression, creativity and self-knowledge
You have a creative project wanting to be born — or one that keeps stalling
You're navigating a life transition and need support and grounding
You want to understand more deeply who you are and where you're going
You want to find your deepest purpose and understand what's been blocking it
You're ready to face what's been in the way
What we work with:
Childhood trauma and its echoes. Life transitions. Identity and soul's purpose. Creativity blocks. Self-esteem and empowerment. Spiritual evolution. The shadow. The inner child. The inner critic. Fear and avoidance. Emotional literacy and expression. Learning to communicate your needs. The parts of you that haven't been heard yet.
The practicalities:
I hold a Master's in Counseling Psychology and Expressive Arts Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies. I am also a certified Reiki Practitioner and Yoga Teacher.
Sessions are on Zoom, 60 minutes, $150 USD. I work with adults, teens, couples and families.
I offer a free 15-minute consultation — no pressure, just a conversation to see if we're a good match.

Life As Art in Baja, Mexico
15 years ago, Brooklyn born and bred, Zoë and her California redwoods born then husband transplanted to a stunning piece of raw desert in the foothills of the Sierra de Laguna Mountains, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, on the Southern Baja peninsula of Mexico, where they pioneered both a homestead & careers that suited and engage their idiosyncrasies, while raising their wild & kind-hearted Mexican-born son. Eschewing the needs for comfort, ease and certainty, in order to embrace a do-it-yourself life in the desert, with lots of tools (digital & analogue), inspiration and bugs. This was the backdrop and inspiration for her blog.
Favorite Things
Zoë's greatest loves, besides friends & family, people in general, especially children & even certain dogs, include: passionate & clever indie rock, dance of all varieties, comedy, improvisation, social practice art, fashion & graphic design, true deep stories, sad songs, mythology & Jungian psychology, children’s books, Fisher Price toys, tarot, embracing duality, inspiring documentaries, the open sky, wildflowers, hugs, creative collaborations and elegant theories that connect everything in the universe.
Virtual Home of Love & Art
This website is a testament to the love & creativity, truth & beauty that continuously flows out when we are present and engaged with everyday life, when we are listening both to our inner world of intuition & heart, as well open to the inspiration that our environment provides. It is also a record of the creative byproducts of life fully lived. It emphasizes process over perfection. Compassion over judgment. And love over fear. It is a celebration of nature & culture, and their fascinating exchange. It is a form of integration of Zoë's many selves, including especially, the more vulnerable shadow—giving space for expression of both darkness and light, the deepest longings and breakings of the heart.
